DETECTIVE DIVISION
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office Detective Unit investigates misdemeanor and felonious crimes occurring within our jurisdiction. Other responsibilities include but not limited to: collection and storage of all evidence, supervision of crime scenes and crime scene preservation.

The Detective Unit works closely with the Road Patrol Division to achieve successful investigations. The Detectives also work to complete thorough and accurate investigations while keeping the needs of the victims at the forefront. We strive to achieve our goal in a timely manner and encourage our citizens to take a proactive view and assist us with our efforts.
