NOTE ABOUT THE PROCESS
CCW initial and renewals must appear IN PERSON at the Putnam County Sheriff’s Tax Office. Items you will need to bring with you;
- Renewal or initial application that you downloaded from the website. Note: You can have the form notarized at the Tax Office.
- If initial training application, copy of your designated safety training certificate. Note: Copies can be made at the Sheriff’s Tax office
- If Renewal, copy of your expired CCW permit or printed copy of the permit
- WV Drivers License with correct address shown for the permit
- Cash, check or credit card to pay for the permit
